美國雜誌：馬英九改善兩岸關係台灣經濟走向復甦
台灣“中央社”6日報導，美國一本雜誌日前報導說，因為馬英九的智慧和改善兩岸關係的努力，台灣經濟前景已經出現好轉。
這本雜誌用了兩頁篇幅介紹馬英九，認為近年全球經濟不景氣，對台灣衝擊很大，但最近幾個月來台灣經濟前景變好，最大的因素就是馬英九。
報導說，2000年至2008年民進黨執政時期，兩岸關係惡化，台美關係也變差，但馬英九上任後，兩岸恢復協商並簽署多項協議，開放陸資入島、實現兩岸直航以及全面開放大陸游客赴台等措施，不僅成功降低了兩岸之間的敵意，也重建了台美互信，外資更認為台灣的投資環境趨向安全。因此，儘管馬英九上台後不久就遇到全球經濟衰退，但因為兩岸關係的發展，台灣現在正走向經濟復甦的道路。
